 Sam Pisano has practiced in the Lancaster and York areas of Pennsylvania for more than twenty years. He holds his Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Millersville University of Pennsylvania and a Masters Degree of Psychosocial Science (MPsSc.) in Community Psychology from Pennsylvania State University. His graduate studies included work in community based prevention strategies. He had published a study completed in Lancaster, Pa. examining children's attitudes toward drugs and alcohol as a predictor of their receptivity to prevention education (ERIC EJ377217).

 He has operated an Intensive Outpatient Program for acutely ill individuals and has been a member of a professional team who have worked with overweight and obese children through Memorial Hospital of York. He is a Nationally Certified Counselor with the National Board for Certified Counselors and is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Pennsylvania. He works with individuals experiencing mood disorders, anxiety, anger, life adjustment issues, grief and acute mental health difficulties. He offers stress reduction and management counseling to individuals and groups, as well as an assortment of wellness topics.
