Lauri King is a Licensed Professional Counselor and has been working in the drug and alcohol field since 2009 in various clinical, supervisory and administrative roles. She obtained a Bachelor of Science in Applied Psychology from Albright College and a Master of Arts in Clinical Counseling from Alvernia University. Additionally, Lauri has maintained active status as a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor through the PA Certification Board since 2014.
She currently works with adults experiencing substance use disorders, mood and anxiety disorders, co-occurring substance use and mental health disorders, and adjustment disorders. Lauri provides personal-centered therapy by collaborating with individuals on treatment goals to facilitate positive outcomes. She relies heavily on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy as her primary interventions.
Lauri has an unwavering belief in the resilience of the human spirit and individuals' capacity for personal growth when equipped with meaningful strategies for change.
